........In the world of today, football has made conformity of relief, love, unity and campaign in social order of society. Such activity cannot be neglected in any community interpersonal norms. As it is now, people have identified it as a source of livelihood, carrier selection, peace onion cap, war against social ills, unifying element and so on. Foremost culture and universal language is sports, which football stands at the peak of it worldwide.,,,,,


Nsukka Town as a people is made up of the nine autonomous communities of the metropolitan setting. They are Nguru, Echara, Isiakpu, Umakashi, Ihe, Umuoyo, Iheagu, Ezema/Edem, Owerri autonomous communities. Dialectically called "ISHI AYA N'ATEGNA".

The youth body of the above mentioned communities under the leadership of Comr. Calistus Onyekachi Omeje-( the president Nsukka Town Youth Association) have deemed essential to host a diludge brazen and unifying football league tagged "SHOOT OUT DRUG ABUSE AMONG THE YOUTHS".


This league will kick-off on 12th November, 2022 at Ugwuorie Primary School Field by 12noon with opening ceremony prayer to be said by Rev. Fr. Prof. Paul Martin's Obayi (Okunerere)

HEALTH  03 JUNE, 2024 ENUGU GOVT APPROVES RECRUITMENT OF 400 STAFF IN PHCS  The Enugu State Government says it will be employing no fewer than 400 clinical and non clinical staff within its functional Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) to strengthen manpower needs. Dr Ifeyinwa Ani-Osheku, the Executive Secretary of Enugu State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ENS-PHCDA), disclosed this to newsmen yesterday in Enugu. Ani-Osheku noted that those to be employed are based on existing man-power gaps identified in PHCs in each of the 17 council areas. She said that the agency and the health ministry had already collated data on the PHC centre equipment and manpower gaps in the 17 council areas in the state. According to her, from onset accurate man-power and other available equipment needs and gaps was identified and duly recorded; and now the state government has concluded plans to fill in the man-power gap in each PHC centre.
