            UTILITY IN BETS 

The derive to continuity is motivated by recent satisfaction, consistency and addiction. At a point in life, satisfaction may not truly be the motive behind continuity due to offshore joy inherent in such node. The second element which calls for consistency tends at the believe in positivity and accepted results that heals the past agony inline with action in vogue. Addiction is suicidal most times as it signifies negative effect but sometimes it portrays the amount of thoughts and likes one may have towards ends meet. In all, it make one to be known for something which apparently vilifies famous cognition and notorious description.

Nigeria is not peculiar to bets but across boards around the world. Everyday, there are newses of suicides emanating from sports' loss which could be attributed to a fan of a particular team feeling remorse and being deeply emotional in the competition. From the bizarre adventure in such iambic, the lyrical dance opines the methodic support or the quantity of betting such fan has lost in predicting the odds of such tournament, play and competition. The whole world is involved in the classical norm of bets. At a latent point it goes out to install a serious belief system and doubts in most cases. We often get issues with such outlet of serious economic activity in life and death premises.

Social factor of betting is visible as it stands as the major thing that adds joy to a common man on the street. I could recall, in school days at my penultimate year, I engaged one finalist in real issues after school and he openly told me that "after my project defense, I will come back fully to betting" I was then looking at this guy like someone without a plan. Today this same guy moves with one of the exotic cars in the country, which is sourced from betting. Such risk doesn't favor everybody as it is more of probability and self belief. Nostradamus effect and historic memes are involved. Another aspect of it is that it has become a self employable institution to most people as the only means of survival. You wake up in the morning and see a man dressing up, cleaning up a bag and with his preparation, you will be wondering if this person is traveling, the focal point is at betting shops. In fact, that's the only institution that wasn't attacked during the hoodlum effect of "END SARS" protest in 2020. I see very many people sustainable in family responsibility through bets. It has come to stay and it is not going anytime soon.

The recognition by promo commission makes it far from gambles but it is a gamble no matter how you describe it. So, it is a legal gamble. If we channel fifty percent of thought and studies involved in analyzing, choosing odds and staking bets to our societal issues, the world will turn to a better place. But sometimes, betting may be born out of frustration and hope of revival.

The greed effect of betting makes one lose more and gain more. It is a balanced risk and cannot be treated with emotions. Take it as a business venture, it has employed more than any institution in Nigeria and the world at large. I have seen many humorous parts of betting ranging from people betting with their properties like houses, cars, clothes, mobile phones etc. Even at a point, seeing a masquerade staking bets, a naked man in a bet shop courtesy of virtual betting(instant killer),  a priest in betting stakes and so on.
