Nkem Fashion Empire rolls out a thunderous event on sports. It is her desire to encourage and empower the women folks in the society. It births the hosting of SOFT LANDING FOOTBALL LEAGUE in Enugu North Senatorial Zone.


This august event is motivated by her wholesome credence on individuals of the society. Her motivation and target was born out of this piece below……


As a young primary school pupil, I won several accolades in field and track events.


The first time I went to Enugu was because of sports, where I won a lot of gifts.


Therefore, sports has always been a strong part of me, and since some health conditions couldn't allow me to progress with my sporting career, I have always had the dreams of sponsoring as many talents as possible to realize their dreams and actualize their potentials.


This is why I, through my fashion company, have decided to sponsor the first ever female football league in Enugu North Senatorial Zone, Enugu State, to help other young women who are the way I used to be, to actualize their potentials.


We will continue to do our best to provide the platform for sporting talents to thrive.

Current guidelines 


Registration of teams starts on Monday 12th August, 2024.


A token of ten thousand naira (#10,000) will be paid for the registration by the teams. It is for team/club commitment. Other expenses will be taken care of by the sponsor.


It is a team/club based not by local government teams only.



Twelve (12) clubs will be taken in the cause of registration, so, it is a first come - first serve model.


Registration point remains Aku Road Ultra Modern Market Nsukka ( at market chairman's office).

HEALTH  03 JUNE, 2024 ENUGU GOVT APPROVES RECRUITMENT OF 400 STAFF IN PHCS  The Enugu State Government says it will be employing no fewer than 400 clinical and non clinical staff within its functional Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) to strengthen manpower needs. Dr Ifeyinwa Ani-Osheku, the Executive Secretary of Enugu State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ENS-PHCDA), disclosed this to newsmen yesterday in Enugu. Ani-Osheku noted that those to be employed are based on existing man-power gaps identified in PHCs in each of the 17 council areas. She said that the agency and the health ministry had already collated data on the PHC centre equipment and manpower gaps in the 17 council areas in the state.
