Rt. Hon Mbah Chijioke Nnamani who hails from Umuedeani Amechi Awkunanaw, in Enugu South Local Government Area is a successful businessman specializing in aluminium and steel sales and fabrication. As the CEO of Landlord Global Aluminium and Steel Company Ltd, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and entrepreneurial skills. His business acumen has not only propelled his company to success but also provided employment and skill development opportunities within Enugu State and beyond, ranking as one of the largest Aluminium and Steels Sales and Fabrication Plants in the South East Nigeria.


In the political arena, Hon. Mbah is a party man with a wealth of experience. His political journey began in 2003 when he served as the PDP party PRO of Achara Layout East Ward Six in Enugu South LGA, a position he held until 2007 when he was made as a Senior Executive Assistant to the former Chairman of Enugu South Local Government Area between (2007-2010), he then rose to the position of Special Adviser to former Council chairman on special duties between 2010 to 2012. 


In 2012, Rt Hon Mbah Chijioke Nnamani was elected councilor representing Achara Layout East Ward Six in Enugu South LGA from 2012 to 2013 and again from 2014 to 2015. His dedication to public service was further demonstrated during his tenure as Supervisor for Works in Enugu South, holding the position from January to March 2020 and then from April 2020 to February 2022, under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He also ran for the office of the house of assembly, Enugu South Urban constituency in 2019 and contested again for the same position under PDP, two trials that built the peak of his political experience and gained him the admiration of his people.


Hon. Mbah’s mission is deeply rooted in the development and empowerment of his community. He aims to enhance infrastructure, security, education, health, and empowerment, aligning his goals with those of His Excellency, Barr. Peter Mbah. By fostering Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), he seeks to partner with the state government to improve the lives of Enugu South's citizens.


His contributions have not gone unnoticed. Hon. Mbah has received numerous awards and recognition from NGOs and youth and student organizations across the South East. His philanthropic efforts through the Landlord Global Foundation have been particularly impactful. The foundation is renowned for ensuring that children in rural communities have access to education through scholarships, grants, and bursaries. Additionally, Hon. Mbah provides free skill training in aluminium and steels sales and fabrication, equipping young people with the tools they need to start their businesses—a philanthropic endeavor he has sustained for over a decade.


Hon. Mbah Chijioke Nnamani, at 41 years old, is a dedicated family man married with Four children. His educational journey began at Central School Owelli Court in Awgu LGA for his primary education, followed by his secondary studies at the College of the Immaculate Conception (CIC) in Enugu. He then pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the prestigious Enugu State University of Science and Technology. This solid educational background has provided him with the foundation to excel in both his professional and political careers.

HEALTH  03 JUNE, 2024 ENUGU GOVT APPROVES RECRUITMENT OF 400 STAFF IN PHCS  The Enugu State Government says it will be employing no fewer than 400 clinical and non clinical staff within its functional Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) to strengthen manpower needs. Dr Ifeyinwa Ani-Osheku, the Executive Secretary of Enugu State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ENS-PHCDA), disclosed this to newsmen yesterday in Enugu. Ani-Osheku noted that those to be employed are based on existing man-power gaps identified in PHCs in each of the 17 council areas. She said that the agency and the health ministry had already collated data on the PHC centre equipment and manpower gaps in the 17 council areas in the state.
